 Having
been a teacher for over twenty years, I was acutely aware
of how many in-service training courses failed to
meet
the expectations of teachers.
Typically,
there would be too many delegates, too much waffle and a nice
lunch.
A week later and I would be thinking...
"What was all that about? How has it helped me?"
We decided to provide better training courses that gave teachers
knowledge and tools along with the
confidence to use them in the classroom.
We provide subject specific courses to enhance
teaching and learning through the use of ICT.
We specialise in Design Technology, with particular emphasis
on CAD CAM.
Unlike
many training providers, we have our own fully equipped training
centre in Basildon, Essex, thus
ensuring
a day free from distraction. The centre has a suite of high
spec multimedia computers with broadband
connection
and an interactive whiteboard.
We
have a strict limit of five delegates on any course, thus
ensuring adequate personal attention.
Typically there will be four or five delegates per course.
Our
courses are creative, with the emphasis on collaborative learning.
Our
courses include Prodesktop 8.0 Accredited Teacher, Prodesktop
8.0 Advanced, Pro/ENGINEER,
Software
used includes Pro/DESKTOP 8.0, Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3, Techsoft
2D Design Tools, Boxford Geocam, CAM Studio, Pro/WIZ and Spiral
Graphics.
We
also provide consultancy for Design Technology departments,
with particular emphasis on CADCAM and
workshop layout.
