PRO/DESKTOP 8.0 ACCREDITED TEACHER

Pro/Desktop has long been established as the most effective 3D Cad package used in schools
and colleges in the UK.

This practical course is designed for those new to the software, or with limited experience
or requiring a refresher course.


Course content:

  • Overview of Cad Cam & the benefits of use by students
  • Learn how to create 3D models
  • Assemblies with moving parts
  • Produce working drawings
  • Use photo rendering to generate realistic images
  • Advice on integration into your scheme of work
  • Accreditation requirements
  • Advice on CNC machines

PRO/DESKTOP 8.0 ADVANCED & UPDATE

Upgrade to Pro/Desktop 8.0 and allow your students to benefit from the many improved features that

will help them achieve higher grades at GCSE.

This course is designed for teachers who are already accredited and using the software confidently.


Course content:

  • New and improved features of version 8.0
  • How to apply more complex techniques including animation
  • How to produce digital teaching resources using video clips
  • Student portfolios from Pro/DESKTOP
  • How to use Pro/Desktop as a teaching tool
  • Advice on CNC machines
  • Creating your own textures

The addition of Pro/ENGINEER Schools Edition will bring significant benefits to schools that are ready to move beyond the modelling capability offered by Pro/DESKTOP.
